Concordia Parish is also blessed with a rich musical culture.  Ferriday is the birthplace of entertainers Jerry Lee Lewis, Mickey Gilley, Leon “PeeWee” Whittaker, and evangelist Jimmy Swaggart.  Concordia Parish houses the Louisiana Secretary of State Delta Music Museum, which has exhibits focusing on the history and culture of Louisiana and Mississippi’s Delta Region Music and a Museum Hall of Fame.  You will find a multitude of activities taking place from day to day.  We are a flourishing community filled with a growing population, great opportunities and bountiful entertainment throughout the parish.
